Matthew 28: 19,20 - Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Since the time we began teaching the older Uzima children about baptism they were eager to make this public declaration of faith, often asking when they would have the opportunity to do so. On February 15th God provided a pool within walking distance from the home, and the resources needed.
The look on the children’s faces was priceless. The joy of the Lord was present in them, and we see the Holy Spirit in them as young believers, growing more and more in their relationships with Christ. In this, we praise and glorify the name of the living God!
We have three clients transitioning out of the Rehabilitation Center in the next month. In the course of this change, these clients will most assuredly be tempted to relapse and even walk away from God. Pray these men would stand firm in their faith, putting on the full armor of God.
We originally received from the US office about half our budget for the month of February. However, like so many times in the past, we saw God come through and multiply the fish and loaves, calling upon others to sacrifice for the sake of the cause.
We have recently been notified from supporters the necessity to be more transparent in the monetary needs of the ministry. So beginning next month we will notify you of any deficit in the budget.
As a ministry we desire to solely depend upon God, but we have also come to the understanding that it is our responsibility to plainly disclose all this information to you. We are going to make a full-hearted effort to improve in this. It has been a long journey, and we thank you for faithfully walking with us every step along the way.
Pray the children to grow more in their faith
