The Area Advisory Committee successfully completed their inspection of the children’s home last month. They have notified us that we passed inspection and will recommended us to the Ministry of Labor and East Africa Affairs for registration as a CCI (Charitable Children’s Institution). This is a massive step forward for the ministry, and we want to thank you for all your prayers and support.
Steve Wescott has been walking across America with a goat for three years raising support so that we can buy our own land and build a new home for the children. The goal of his project (Needle2Square.com) is to create stability for Uzima Children’s Home by owning land, and thereby constructing income-generating projects that will greatly assist the ministry.
Recently we were referred to the Catholic Diocese in our county as the most promising purveyor of land. We have looked at two plots for sale. One of these we feel led to pursue. It is a level planed 2-acre plot that will be spacious enough for income generating projects and beneficial for all the children’s needs.
We want to thank Steve Wescott and his team of Needle2square who have dedicated immense amounts of time and effort so that the children of Uzima may be better off. Also, we want to say thanks to God for you the supporters, and your faithful generosity. The total cost for land, Stamp Duty Tax, Lawyer/Surveyor fees, and initial fencing comes to $64,770. At this point we are just $10,320 from reaching this amount. We would kindly ask that you pray about giving to this need.
We thank God for the many blessings He has bestowed on Uzima Outreach that we may continue on in this work for the Kingdom of God. Please join us in prayer for this need and for the Lord’s will to be done. We feel so blessed, and we give all the glory to God.
Thank God with us for the inspection going well, and approval to be registered as a CCI
