On October 1st, 2016 Steve Wescott and his goat Miles finished the walk into Times Square. Many friends and family traveled to New York to walk the last few blocks with them and celebrate this great accomplishment. The Needle2square project raised over $100,000 and provided the funds to purchase the land and so much more. We are so grateful to the Lord!
The walk is over but Steve Wescott and his team will continue to be a big part of the Uzima family. They plan to visit Uzima Outreach in Nairobi by the end of the month.
“The walk is over, but the story has just begun.”-Steve Wescott
Prayers have been answered; the land has been purchased! This is a tremendous blessing from God and we look forward to developing the land, and continuing the Lord’s work as He provides.
Uzima is now registered as a Charitable Children’s Institution: This means that the Kenyan Government now recognizes Uzima at the highest standard for children’s institutions. It is a huge milestone for the ministry and we give all the glory to God!
Please join us in thanking the Lord for many answers to prayer.
