Happy New Year!

January 31, 2019

1 John 4:4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them,
for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

We are settling in well to the new children's home as construction finalizes. At this point we still need to paint, and we are inquiring into different options for cabinets and storage. It’s been very exciting for all of us to move in to our own property and work together in its ongoing development. The children are back in school as of this month to begin the new year. So far we’ve been able to buy the uniforms, shoes, and supplies. But we still need your help with school fees. Please consider a donation towards this important cause.

We are pleased with the staff at the children’s home continuing to focus on spiritual maturity. Washington, the Home Manager and pastor has been teaching the high school students on the importance of fasting. Many of the children willing joined the staff in fasting once a week through December. It’s a blessing for us to witness them grow in their faith, and their fervor inspires us.

God is doing a great work in the prison ministry as well. We thank Him for giving us an open door into an environment that isn’t easily accessed. He has given us favor to enter more regularly, thus paving the way for us to follow-up with those who have given their lives to Christ. It has not come without struggles as we are now facing resistance from the inside. But God is for us and we will continue to share His word and our testimonies, as we pray more come to know salvation.

Prayer request:

  • Please pray with us for continued spiritual growth in our children

  • Pray for the provision of school fees

  • Pray for more to come know Christ through the prison ministry

  • Lastly, join us in praying against the schemes of the evil one, as we have felt much spiritual resistance in various areas of the ministry and our personal relationships.
