To God Be The Glory!

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3: 20,21

After years of alcoholism “G” had grown weary and defeated. Some of his friends began attending the rehabilitation program and he was invited. From the beginning of his enrollment, we could see his earnestness towards his goals by faithfully attending and always being respectful and considerate.


Over time he was able to reduce his use of alcohol and gave his life to Jesus. Today, we give glory to God to see that he is now over a year sober and achieving his goals. He is now working in construction and staying busy. We stop by often to check on him and we are always pleased to see him and what the Lord has done in this young man’s life. Praise God!


One of our prayer points from last month was about one of the older girls in the home. We were originally told by the doctor she would need to have a lump removed from her breast and surgery was recommended. In prayer, we decided to take her to a specialist in Nairobi. We thank God for answers to prayer, as the doctor has reported to us it is non-cancerous and she will not need surgery. She was of course scared at the idea of surgery, so she is so thankful to the Lord for his goodness and grace upon her life.

Please thank God with us for health and answers to prayer for this young lady.

Thank God with us for G’s life and the miraculous work the Lord had done.

Please pray for the Turner’s as they are in the U.S. advocating for our mission.

And continue to lift up all the Uzima staff as they faithfully pursue the mission.
